Who said they did a trial run of 400k?
That was a convenient website to copy the story from.

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Scorpion_and_the_Frog

I forgot where I first heard/read the story ( a comic book maybe), but it's well worth remembering.

Edit
And, I really doubt Benny's printing presses in China have any real cost advantage over DC or Marvel. He probably just has a cost advantage over going to a independent print shop in the US.

REDG Stock Message Board http://investorshangout.com/Red-Giant-Enterta...EDG-87531/

You don't need facts, look at his message history. This guy is wonderful, should be on fox.
It is not impossible. Where do you come up with these things?
You never post any facts or links or anything to back your claims.

You think that with a deal as big as toys r us they would know the cut off dates for printing as shipping?

They already did a trial run of 400k comics and met that deadline well in advance.

That's why there is a mid September cut off date for issue 1. In order to have printed shipped and ready to go nov 5th.
True, USAToday has just under 3 million and they have 36 printers.

EDIT
rick, REALLY??? Look at the link at the bottom of your post.
The boards flirtation with the Dark side may become a permanent fixture unless Benny
communicates to the shareholders and exonerates himself from any shenanigans.

May the force be with you all.
Agree with regards to Nov-that's the reason I'm hanging in. I'm sure that many investors including myself understand the risk of trading pennies so the risk is inherent to game. That is understood.

What is not easily understood however, is the misstatements and missteps of the CEO. Is that now to be considered to be 'the heat in the kitchen'? Sorry-no. Lying is never acceptable-ever.

As you say though, we are very close to some sort of turning point. I believe it would be shortsighted to sell now when the definitive signature event is so close.

As far as 20 advertisers are concerned-after all this time, effort, funding, this would be the best they could do nationwide and overseas? Again-sorry, no. We are not sure they even have more than the 14 they told us about. Why? Because they don't communicate. As a matter of fact we cannot be sure they even have that 14. Why? Because the mistrust of Mr Powell runs deep. It's hard to believe a man who constantly goes back on his word.

I respect your opinions but at this point I simply don't agree. We will see shortly if this goes through or if Mr Powell is a candidate for American Greed.

It is also well understood that should this become a success that all of the mistrust and doubt concerning Mr Powell will evaporate into a rising PPS.
I don't know why you doubt it, especially with today's technology. There are newspapers all over the country that do over a million (edit: newspapers) a day, daily. I don't understand why you think it is so difficult to print a million comic books in a week. I doubt it takes more than a few 8 hour shifts. Judging from the FCBD books, they don't use a different paper for the cover, making it a lot simpler print job.

Edit
"Scorpion and the Frog" isn't an Aesop's fable, but may have been derived from "The Frog and the Mouse".
I like that. Read Aesop Fables as a kid but I don't remember that one.
There is not a single print shop in China that could produce a million comic books by November. It's just not possible to print a million comic books in that time frame and still make a profit. And to do it on a weekly time frame. IMPOSSIBLE. You would need 10 printing companies to possibly do it but I doubt it.
I think it is just Benny's nature to over-inflate things and issue misleading statements, he can't help but do it. I don't expect he will ever stop, even if REDG becomes successful. It appears to be his nature ( remember the story of the scorpion and the frog?).

Edit

Quote:
The Scorpion and the Frog

A scorpion and a frog meet on the bank of a stream and the
scorpion asks the frog to carry him across on its back. The
frog asks, "How do I know you won't sting me?" The scorpion
says, "Because if I do, I will die too."

The frog is satisfied, and they set out, but in midstream,
the scorpion stings the frog. The frog feels the onset of
paralysis and starts to sink, knowing they both will drown,
but has just enough time to gasp "Why?"

Replies the scorpion: "Its my nature..."

I don't think the TRU deal is dead. Benny did make good on the FCBD (Free Comic Book Day) comic books, so he is capable of printing, bagging and shipping a million books.

I think the deal will die if he doesn't make good in November.
I will back of my stance a bit , but no way the tru deal is dead by any means. We all know the future prospects are bright and our team solid . However lets be realistic. While Benny profits by his company making bank of the printing deal, we guess about how much we will profit from the deal, and the Hollywood aspirations are still years from anything concrete materializes. Can we survive that long ?
Ya just hard to see this , when you have statements (besides the ones I already posted yesterday) about bein self sustaining within a few weeks, which was preceded a couple months prior with no need for new notes both of which were followed by a heap of them. Just look at my posting of be notes from yesterday, never a break or anything . I'm assuming the 300k around the beginning of January was used to print the fcbd comics . Just followed the trend of being mislead. Idk why they can't just come out and explain everything straight forward
Ya, that's what we are trying to stop. I find it hard to believe that anyone could have faith in Benny. Your investing in this guy. 80% of his resume is a lie. The time it takes to print a million comics, bag them and transport them from China has come and passed. TRU is dead.
Honestly I can't put a finger on it after reading that 8-k. But will continue to buy new lows. If GSL is launched with 20-24 ads you already know what that means in terms of revenue. Just need to take that back seat at this time. So close to NOVA November and as an investors in OTC you should know the risk and reward.

If you can't handle the heat then move on that's my 2 cents.

You might be right about that. But, I just remember people being excited after the last video, and full of confidence about Benny and the company. The finances for the company were almost equally as bad a month ago. Even with a November date for the GSL, the company still needs to pay expenses until revenue starts flowing. I couldn't have been the only one expecting more convertible notes.

There hasn't been any word yet from Benny or anyone from REDG on their Facebook page. I guess they are hoping things calm down by Tuesday, when the market opens again.

I think a lot of current shareholders will sell some shares into any rally of the share price cutting their ownership. New uninformed shareholders will come on board, full of new enthusiasm for Benny and the company.
He does not have to sell for you to buy. There are plenty of shares available-almost always at a lower price than the last time you bought them. I am curious. What PPS do you consider, 'to the moon'?

Not looking for an argument but I am curious as to where you see this going in the next 3 months. You seem to be one of the shrinking number of people to have faith in the CEO to effect a positive outcome.
trips on Tuesday and no telling where that will end.
