Q. How did you get to partner with NanoTech in the first place?
A. I sought them out. We were trying to develop our own 4K
solution, but then I randomly found this company NanoTech whose
media player had Tegra 4 in it. I figured that partnering with
them would be a much easier option for us rather than trying to
develop our own way. There were other options, but NP-1 was by far
the best performing player I thought. I e-mailed them first, and
communicated with Aaron Taylor. I requested to order one NP-1
player to begin with, but then they offered me one for free. They
however told me it was missing its casing. I said it was fine
because all I needed to see was its technological specs, not its
looks.
