Celtics, your recent posts got me thinking about a couple investments I made where I didn't have the patience to wait and lost significant profits. It wasn't just the patience I lacked but I listen to people who weren't even investing in the market telling me, "you made a profit, sell now!"
I know we aren't supposed to mention other stocks on the board but I will to prove my point. In July of 2012 I bought Catalyst Pharm (CPRX) at .66 and sold at $1.95. Nice profit right? Today, two years late the stock's pps is $3.20. In December 2012 I purchase Horizon Pharma (HZNP) for $3.15 a share and sold when it hit $5.20. Again nice profit, right? Today, 20 months later HZNP is valued at $10.30 a share down from a $14 high just a few months ago.
My point is this, I am going with my guts with SCRC. What's two years of waiting for a company with revenues as promising as SCRC is posting right now? And the BS about RapiMeds being "on indefinite hold", until Mr. Schndeiderman makes that announcement, it's all lies from the bashers solely out to manipulate the stock and scare investors. My gut told me to hold the above mentioned stocks but sold because of fear of losing the profits I earned. The pharma industry has proven to be a very profitable investment over the years, look at Jazz, Amgen, and Glaxo. NO ONE knew these companies would be as big as they are today. SCRC is in the pharma business and I see in the months to follow the success of this company will be historic. You are saying 4 to 8 more quarters, so what! It will be worth the wait. I'm not letting this one get away.
