Not to mention, COO is hosting Analysts on Sept. 11. There are only 4 trading days before that event.

The Cooper Companies to Host Analyst Day on September 11, 2014

PLEASANTON, Calif., Aug. 28, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Cooper Companies, Inc. (COO) will host an analyst day on Thursday, September 11, 2014, to update the investment community on its growth initiatives and strategic priorities. The event will be held at the JW Marriott Essex House New York, 160 Central Park South, New York, NY and will begin around 8:00 AM. It is expected to conclude around 12:00 PM Eastern Time.

The program will include presentations by Cooper's president and chief executive officer, Robert S. Weiss and other members of the senior management team. A more detailed agenda will be communicated the day of the meeting.

A live webcast as well as related presentation materials will be available through the Investor Relations section of The Cooper Companies website at http://investor.coopercos.com. A webcast replay of the presentations will be available on the same website shortly after the event.
Being that COO just acquired Sauflon is huge as well. They have a good foothold across the pond and beyond. I'm shocked that investors aren't acknowledging this fact.

Sauflon is a privately owned global manufacturer of contact lenses and aftercare solutions, manufacturing the widest range of contact lens care products in today’s market. Sauflon is established in the UK as a market leader for aftercare solutions.

Southampton, England – is home to a highly skilled Research & Development team and one of Sauflon’s state-of-the-art, multi-faceted contact lens production facilities which produces in excess of 100 million contact lenses each year. In 2007, Sauflon invested over $42million in a new state-of- the-art 145,000sq.ft. facility in Budapest, Hungary, allowing for continued manufacturing expansion, aiding distribution across the whole of Europe.

The partnership news today was everything I hoped it would be and expected it to be, and with the additional info about other partnerships regarding non-medical wearables was the cherry on top.

Everybody knew there would be a 'sell on the news' effect. Even then it was miniscule. The 'selling into the news' this week took away much of the steam to really drop it like the flippers were hoping. Those that sold at .04-.07 are still left holding their dicks. Those that sold at .08-.09 with the hope it would drop below .07 are now scratching their heads. The only investors at peace right now are the Longs who know what they have and those that understand the technology.

Traders are back in full effect on Tuesday. The summer trading session is officially over.

I agree this will get us out of pinky land for sure!

Epgl....well done ratfink....their reply is exactly what i had hoped for....
Coo will make statement soon...
And quarterly coming soon with.more detail and revs...
Sit back and enjoy the show...
Epgl
Until today there were folks in this board they said Epgl was a scam. This news and filings proved that Epgl is a legitimate company. That is huge. Wait, their tone will change and folks will be here to throw new mud soon. But, Epgl will be moving forward. I believe, this is just the beginning, imho.

Epgl
This is for lenses. I believe, there will be more partners on other sectors, imho.

Epgl
I think everyone getting hung up on predictions should find something better to do; we tend to live on the past when fixating on them.

Being in R&D myself I share the same concerns that the partnership doesn’t mean that every project will generate revenue. If it doesn’t and all it currently is producing is operating costs for EPGL then that’s ok to. As long as they are not bleeding money to death it means the restructure is truly working and company can continue to move forward. I think many of us have been in for long enough now waiting a bit longer while the picture unfolds will not be difficult.

What do you think the partnership will play out like given the facts that are official? We have been in silence for an eternity it seems*, surely something has been brewing but what I wonder. I feel the direction really gaining solidity and if we can expect to see similar partnerships with companies on the consumer side in a race to market then things will be great. I am right now asking myself the question why did they wait so long to reveal this news since it did not detail anything outside of partnership. I think it must coincide with another event that has either occurred or is about to.

Truly a long term play here, sure some will profit nicely from flipping news many will profit greater if all the sound DD holds true. That being said everyone needs to take this weekend and do their DD, catch up on opinions (both positive and negative as all are valid) and form their own conclusions.

*Twitter does not count when it comes to my money

I emailed the company this afternoon with this question.

I was wondering if the will be anymore news after the weekend. The stock took a hit after today's news I guess they wanted more details. I'm a stock holder for the long term.

they replied this

Pay attention to Cooper in next week or so. Earnings call coming up. Fyi.

Best Regards,
EPGL Investor Relations Team

We will have to wait a little longer I guess. A monster in the making.

$EPGL
Still waiting for the 's' in "partners". Hope we get more frequent PRs starting today.

Drove ten hours today. Glad I wasn't at the computer to see the chicken coupe rumble and listen to the cackle.
News was released early to help shed the weak and flippant ones. It's created better opportunity for next tier investors to move the stock once COO tells all. We should push hard thru .10 because it needs to avg. over that to make QX. We'll get more news on other developments soon and an annual in a month to help.
IMO
W
The Cooper Companies commands almost one-third market share in rapidly growing specialty lenses, multifocal lenses and torics. The company continues to garner market share by growing at two to three times (or about 12%) the market growth rate.

The outlook for the contact lens industry is favorable. A fall in dropout rate of contact lens wearers and further market penetration, especially in developing nations, is expected with continuous improvisation in the technology.

Go $EPGL....filings, PRs, conference calls, webcast, smoke signals.....

LMFAO,

GFU,

DD22
Looks to me like the timing of the release was perfect. Note that Cooper companies is hosting an Analyst Day on Sept. 11th.
Can you just imagine all those questions the analysts will be asking about EPGL, their capabilities and what is to be developed?
Interest will run high and so will news articles and oh the publicity...
Hang on for blast-0ff!

Seriously I think Cooper is announcing in on the 11th to their investors. This will be their announcement to the world.
Epgl....agreed, still an awesome day for epgl..
A nice pr confirming a closed deal..and potential future partnerships with other major companies.."open source".in the works here...and also a sec filing validating epgls partnership with COO. A great day for epgl..
Glad to be apart of this MONSTER yet tiny little otc company..
Epgl.....weeeee!!!

It just makes for a long, long weekend
Hopefully COO releases this information on their website so we get the news out there . Mike and Epgl have done an amazing job with this company and to be able to negotiate deals with companies like COO from a pink sheet stock is unheard of. This proofs to all the naysayers that EPGL is not only for real but working with some real special technology for a company like COO to notice. There is no doubt that this deal will attract the attention of other major companies. Great job MIke!!!! I just wish u would spread this information a little better I might have to print the filing out get my staple gun and start hitting the trees around my neighborhood ...lol
I agree disappointed too
When we leave pinky land we remove ourselves from a lot of the flippers.

$EPGL
I don't think the sell off today was attributed to the R&D or agreement with COO... I think it is because people saw the PR and thought it didn't contain the information they were expecting... Not realizing that the supplemental information was the meat that we were all looking for. Once light was shown on that filing, the selling bottomed and there was aggressive buying to back it up, until the last minute of the session. The news is great and once COO releases news it will bring new eyes here that typically wouldn't invest in the pinks. Next week will be green
