So now they say the NP doesn't matter, it's all about UltraSux.....

How do NP owners feel about that?

Are they happy the H265 won't be a simple firmware update?

Will scam NTEK update their boxes for free?

How long will it take Dave Fraudley to disassemble and upgrade all 11 boxes?
Tell that story to Nvidia who now has a 10.5 Billion dollar market cap and a $19.45 share price.

Very Bottom In graphics tests, K1 absolutely blows the doors off Tegra 4 (and everything else).

Tegra 4 was a Pump Chip for NTEK
My favorite aspect about the NP-1 is still the games on google play. I could care less about the flawless 4K streaming.

You forgot, where is NTEK's streaming player? Is it still on that boat from China? Ooops, nope that "magic box", that "unicorn", that "prototype" that PERFECTLY STREAMS(not downloads) 4K content is actually a reality, go figure. I've paid real money for that real NP-1 and it's amazing!

It's pointless to continue to try and prove the existence of the NP-1 to someone who doesn't want to believe it. It doesn't matter that NTEK is selling them on Amazon, Staples or wherever and generating $1 or $100 million. If someone has a vested interest in NTEK's failure, they don't care what proof you bring to the table.

I love NTEK, the NP-1 and Ultraflix. It's tangible to me, I can hold it, hook it up and watch film and TV through it. I know it works. The stock price will take care of itself.

There is nothing "highly compressed" about cleaned AVC files which Ultraflix uses. By highly compressed, you imply that the quality of the 4K movie one decodes is lower. It is not. It looks fantastic. Also, there is a big difference between compression and cleaning out the unnecessary junk in an AVC encoded movie (also in HEVC encoded movies, which currently is not done and Netflix is seeing no benefit from encoding in HEVC btw). Also, AVC is far more standard and in many ways advanced than HEVC. The concept of HEVC is great and its performance is good (in theory). And its TRL is lower, meaning it has more room for advancement. But it will be years before HEVC will be adopted and improved enough to become mainstream.

Stephen was the game designer for Rush 2049 and I was the lead
programmer back at Atari when we met.

The day Stephen started working with me, we went and played our
game that we made 15 years ago at NYNY on our lunch break to
celebrate working together again.

He still had a lot of "SWAG" from back in those days.

Stephen and I and NanoTech are even MORE excited about what we are
working on now with NanoTech Gaming Labs, and we're looking to add
one more Junior Programmer who has experience with C++ and is
interested to program some games.

The Junior Programmer position is for a simple game that Stephen
and I have designed that should be simple to implement before G2E.
It should be tons of fun working at the Las Vegas office with me
and Stephen. The project that Stephen and I are working on is
separate from your project. The successful candidate will have
ownership and pride in their work just like the other team members
at NanoTech Gaming Labs.
