But that "slight delay" has turned into 7 months!! And be honest with yourself, THERE WAS NO DEMAND FOR MARANI AT ANY COSTCO!! The 13 Costco stores came 7 months after the announcement of the "consummated" Brazil contract and 6 months after the "delay" was announced. (It's almost like, "Hey, look at what we're now doing!! Forget Brazil." . But the Brazil contract called for "2 CONTAINERS A MONTH" (beginning first quarter of 2014). But we're still selling from just ONE CONTAINER!! TOTAL!! So, since she said the Brazil shipments were delayed because of domestic demands, why aren't we selling at least TWO CONTAINERS a month in the United States to make up for Brazil??
I now can't shake the feeling that we've been duped. After all, the Brazil contract ALONE was to GROSS some $666,667 MONTHLY for Marani. ($40 Million over 5 years). Was there really anything CLOSE to that in domestic demand? Actually this seems like a company which can't fill much of ANY kind of demand! And, well, did they really even care if they could?
Anyhow, the "distractions" continue. New fluff prs, more board hype and newer free giveaways of vodka (sponsorships). And, all the while, the dilution seems to be providing Marani with much more revenue than the selling of their product does.
Sad to say but it's actually kinda sad to see the effects that being married to a stock causes. Guess that's why some experts advise against it.
