I love this part:

Twitch's previous investors actually offered hundreds in millions in new funding, but the company felt the big investment alone wasn't enough. Instead, Twitch decided it needed to piggyback on a much larger company to scale its technology and infrastructure to match its growth, and both Google and Amazon offered that possibility.

Yep...they think everything should be free because their parents hand them five bucks a day for lunch, buy everything they ask for and never make them do a thing for it. They'll pay $3.25-$3.99 for a five ounce energy drink or $1.89 for 12 ounces of bottled water. My son wanted a moderately expensive pair of Frank Thomas sneakers years back. I told him I would pay half if he would....he decided he didn't need them..wanted $250 glasses and I told him in front of the clerk I couldn't afford them..he got over it...nowadays if mom and dad don't "give it" they go crying to grandma and grandpa... They drive better cars than I do...and who buys the $3.48 per gallon gas...jeeze...
If they want to be a part of the NG show it should not be an issue to barf up ninety nine cents.

These kids bitching about a $1 is a joke. How many kids are walking around with iphones and designer clothes. If they can't figure out a way to come up with a $1 they are going to have problems in life. My 7 year old has more than that under his bed in change. If they think $30 makes you rich, they have a big surprise coming in life. I say shame on the author for even writing this article. Nash is an entertainer, that's his job, does the author expect him to do it for free.
