NFL Great LaDainian Tomlinson's San Diego, CA Estate Sold for $3.495 Million in 16 Days

SAN DIEGO, Calif., Aug. 27, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via PRWEB - The home of future Hall of Fame running back LaDainian Tomlinson sold today for full asking price of $3.495 million. The estate has been listed with different firms for the past four years, and was sold in 16 days after being co-listed in July of this year by the San Diego based Daniel Beer Group of Windermere Homes & Estates and The Agency in Beverly Hills.

"We were able to sell the home in only 16 days and at full price after it had been on the market for four years with other agents by investing heavily in staging, photography, videography, and PR," says Daniel Beer, Executive Director of the Premier Homes Division at Windermere Homes & Estates. "We created a story for the property and understood exactly who our likely buyer was going to be."

Purchase in 2004 for $3.5 million, Tomlinson and his wife, LaTorsha, customized their Heritage Estates home to create a very personal masterpiece. The single-level home is mapped across more than 13 acres on two separate land parcels in the top ranked Poway Unified School District. Nearly 10,000 square feet has been used to encompass five en-suite bedrooms, a detached guest house, and amenities throughout to cater to a focused family and entertaining lifestyle. A hidden movie theater room includes a vintage 1967 Mustang, split in half to create a drive-in movie theater experience like none other that will be enjoyed by the new owners. It is noted that this theater is one of Tomlinson's favorite rooms where he religiously studied game film. The outdoor oasis includes an extravagant pool and spa complete with a waterfall and swim-up bar. A regulation size basketball court and golf green with sand trap complete the perimeters of the outdoor playground.

The Tomlinsons sold the home to get back to their Texas roots.
