I used to be a car salesman and we called them "tire kickers". The tire kickers will find every excuse not to buy and think they know everything.

The product (show) will do the talking and branding.
Once initial sample set loves it, people will pay even a higher price to buy it.
This is why Starbucks makes so much money.
It has massive margins - it charges exactly what consumers are willing to pay

Do young fans complain when they purchase tickets to a concert for one direction? It's a form of entertainment and if they want all the bells and whistles they will have to pay for it but it want break the bank for a highly obsessed teen to buy a sub for 29 dollars besides the majority of teens now days work a part time job. And imagine how much parents pay every year on miscellaneous bull every year. This will be a major success. And these kids are famous.
Also have to remember that the show will do the talking
Lots of whiners will buy after their friends tell them about it

Kids who have Instagram vine and Twitter have parents who pay for expensive smart phone plans. Will they pay a dollar for the show?
One issue though is that a lot of tweets are complaining that they have to pay. I wonder if this decreases his reputation. I really hope not.
