So thinking along the lines of a company that is not currently "milking the cow" with the current petri plate technology, I thought the obvious places to look might be producers of plate readers and/or producers of multiwell plates.
I put together a partial list of some of these producers using Google:
ELISA microplate manufacturers:
Biorad
Biotek Readers
Dynex
Labsystems
Molecular Devices
Spectramax
ThermoFisher
Multiwell plate manufacturers:
BrandTech
BD
Corning
EMD Millipore
Greiner Bio One International
Thermo Scientific
Didn't bother looking to see if these companies are US based, but did note that many of them do business internationally. Some of them I recognize to have very deep pockets....
This was an interesting exercise. If nothing else, anyone doing the same will realize in terms other than dollar signs how large the IVD market space is and how much of it is there for Nanologix to take.
