When I started investing in CTIX, back at 0.35, Fidelity limited me to 5K shares at a time because it was a penny stock. They can have the commission if they want it, I've made it back many times over!

It just may be. If so, they are trying to get more commissions by having orders limited to 10,000 each. So your friend would have to place multiple orders if wanting more at one time.
Personally, don't know of any brokerage with such low share limits.
Each brokerage has its rules. Most will allow orders up to 999,999 shares (some higher).
Because of competition, most brokerages have raised their limits and reduced their commissions over time. I remember when lower per trade limits were the norm.
Maybe time for your friend to do some brokerage shopping.

It never fails. Buy one to get another and the first one rolls while the second one either sits or just keeps up with the first.
Today seems like a good day to get 20k back even though it's painful to have to pay the additional money.
Thats what i told him. he dumped a 20,000 share position at 1.84, he wants back in his other suitor kept pace for a while but is now resting. LOL

Family man, I really think that there will be a PR before then but what do I know?
What I do know is that the presentation slides are due the 28th and last year we were able to get an early glimpse thanks to some very talented person on this board. I hope we get that glimpse again.

Question for the board; i have a friend who is trying to buy some shares this morning he says his brokerage won't let him put in an order for more than 10,000 shares. Is that possible?

CTIX more powerful rally back in March. From 1.40 to 1.90, eventually swallowed whole by Aspire/traders. We're also unchanged on the year, so lets put everything in perspective, so we don't get upset if the PPS drops back to lower levels. Is anyone on this board buying over 2 I wonder?
Now throw away the key until they all explode and smile all the way to the bank!

We are cleaning the runway! Looking great CTIX!
It's easy to forget CTIX was trying to break solidly into the $2s just last Friday and yesterday morning was $2.02 low and the previous close. I think we have a lot of people waiting to jump in on news and we have another smaller group buying for the long haul but being careful. If we bounce around between $2.00 and $2.08 all day it will he good for the stock, though not as much fun as watching it break $2.10 and running to $2.30.
