Interesting that their own quotes should have directed them to Cap Canaveral:
''When it went down, about 200 people died and only seven survived. The ones who made it landed up in Cape Canaveral.''
Why would a ship that went down 90 feet offshore take the survivors up to Cap Canaveral? Maybe if they were about a mile out they would have drifted north but not that close to shore.
