Safe Harbor probably gets them off the hook
CP, Thanks for looking into this. I See...

a couple differences between the original posted link and your posted link that leaves me curious for a bit more DD.

My link showed it was for ".../research-and-development/partnering.php"

And your updated page shows ".../partnering/selected-partnerships"

I agree that odds are goood PPHM won't appear on your "Selected Partners" page before seeing some form of public announcement/PR.

But, it seems PPHM is in Bayer's sights regarding their research and development of potential partners as recently as 2nd quarter of 2014 especially in regards to their investors.

Thanks for posting your find.

GLTA.

PPHM Stock Message Board http://investorshangout.com/Peregrine-Pharmac...PHM-55152/

If, by chance... the FDA allows Bavi to be combined with all drugs in a class..etc, then possibly Peregrine makes a little less on a partnership, but MUCH MORE on the longterm rights as it signs deals with all of Big Pharma.

To me that seems the most logical otherwise we'll need all of K&L Gates 2,000 lawyers plus. Thanks for ideas and again, a well spring of surprises are coming our way.
Here is the updated Bayer Partner page:

Partnerings (includes Onyx)

Peregrine Pharmaceuticals was on this page in the past for "Selective cancer diagnostics (vascular targeting agents)" partnering.

Don't expect to see ANYTHING about PPHM on this page before some other form of public announcement such as a PR if a partnership or collaboration would be applicable.

The date you found is the last time the page was generated from scratch. The page was last update in 2014 buy the way. It was part of a web-site code that Bayer used a while ago (investors page with sub-section integrated - it's in my cache). The new one is the one you can reach via the normal current Bayer web-page path.
If your sizzle index is related to options, someone bought 250 January 5's for .05, a total of $1,250 plus commission. Not a rousing endorsement IMO.
Amit Singal, another investigator from the bavi/sorafenib HCC IST is also listed as a consultant for Bayer/Onyx for the first time in the Kyoto brochure.

I maintain they could be being paid to slow roll the results for another couple of quarters.

A hypothetical legal question:

If a company issues in print,

"The Phase II portion of this trial is ongoing with 34 of the 38 intended patients currently enrolled, 10 of which are currently on treatment with the longest one on treatment for 18 months," said Dr. Yopp. "This open-labeled trial is almost complete and while the results are preliminary, they are promising. I am excited about this potential combination given the new understandings about bavituximab's mechanism and I look forward to sharing the full set of data from this Phase II trial later this year."

And someone buys shares based on that, is the company on the hook for making materially false and misleading statements if that full set of data isn't released this year?

PPHM may have currently one of the most read boards, but also is blessed with a relatively moribund share price. There must be a reason for that. People and entities drop in for a look, do not see much worthwhile insofar as news is concerned, and move on to avoid inane prattle. That is Bungler's and others' current MOA.

CP livened things up for me yesterday in my skimming process wrt consulting relation between Bayer/ONYX and Dr. Yopp of UTSW. I still hold all shares.

Emailed IR last evening to see whether a date has been set for ASM this year. No response yet.

Bioharm, what if we partner with Bayer for liver and later bavi is found to be effective with another drug for liver, maybe one of Roche's and that too in cts has a comparable SOC with Sor/Bavi? What then?

Good question and and its a good problem to have, possibly. The bottom line is any company using PS-Targeting will have to pay up big time if they are the only company allowed to use those PS-Targeting rights.

If, by chance... the FDA allows Bavi to be combined with all drugs in a class..etc, then possibly Peregrine makes a little less on a partnership, but MUCH MORE on the longterm rights as it signs deals with all of Big Pharma.

Either way.... The Peregrine Empire is in the midst of being built.

I know many have said that once its approved it can be used off-label, but..... but.... but... it may be approved as "IN COMBINATION ONLY" !! and no BP can split up that combination until they make a deal with Peregrine to run trials on a different combination.

More msgs on Sunday than Monday? Is that possible? Ever happen before? Well, good news coming.
PPHM sizzle at 6.11. Buy em if ya got em.....we are going up today.

IMHO

wook
I envy Rip van Winkle - nice to go asleep for 20 years and wake up to find bavi in our toothpaste, cereal, orange juice while cancers everywhere eradicated or at least greatly reduced in their potency. Hey, I'd take a sleep for 15 days just to find bavi combined with something and a partnership or collaboration under our belt.
Too bad, top of most read boards, volume or something of significance would have drawn a lot more of attention. The n again, these boards are mostly for flippers.

Edit: Of course our board is unique!!
No doubt it will be slow play until the proxy is released.
Tuesday Sept 9th PPHM Earnings Report, shows confirmed...

by a site that "whispers earnings"... feel free to google

Wishing all Stockholders a Wonderful Week!
There has never been anything said that helped the pps at a conference call in the nine years that I have been invested here.

I hope this Kyoto thing isn't the latest Duke Paper/March 2014 non-event. There have been many here in connect the dot land.
As usual, we trade at almost 1.68 and the ask drops a penny to 1.67.
I'd forgotten we have an earnings call coming up in about 2 weeks.

Unfortunately that is good for about a 10% drop since every time mgmt has spoken it has not bode well for the stock.
I'd forgotten we have an earnings call coming up in about 2 weeks. Last year it was on Monday, September 9.
Very curious to see if volume starts to pick up now, especially coming into 1) end of summer 2) Kyoto 3) quarterly call. Been pretty low for past couple of weeks. Or do you think nothing happens until proxies come out?
