So the dividends are on hold until the ticker chan

So the dividends are on hold until the ticker change happens. You can pay for both at the same time but a good TA would realize the ticker change should happen first before letting shareholders call in to get the dividends. Sounds like we have a good TA here.

Sounds logical to me..
