I think it's funny, that all the slander being thrown against the Judge's and the Advisory Board of TMMI is being left on the IHUB message board. One would think that after this current court case concludes, that another civil lawsuit will be placed in motion against the same people writing these malicious spoken statements!!.Slander is a crime of making a false spoken statement damaging to a person's reputation. The people who's reputation that we're talking about; Eighth Judicial District or Nevada Supreme Court Judges and the TMMI Advisory Board. In some civil law jurisdictions, defamation is treated as a crime rather than a civil wrong.Nevada is generous in that it allows plaintiffs ample time to file a slander or libel lawsuit and demand a correction of the information; but often, once a negative statement is made it is difficult to undo the damage. In Nevada, the statute of limitations for a libel or slander action is two years. This means the plaintiff must file the complaint within two years of the date the defamatory statement was uttered or written.
In Nevada, a false written publication is punishable in criminal court as a gross misdemeanor. Gross misdemeanors carry a maximum jail sentence of one year and/or a fine of $2,000. Both written and spoken defamation are actionable in civil court.

TMMI TRUDEF moves onward and upward Worldwide!!.
