I am thinking that you are right. Market wants to continue the rally. I have always been a contrarian investor. The caveat is that you have to pick your timing well, or if you fight the trend, it can kill you. At this point, there is not much overhead resistance. SPX/SPY broke through. So technically, if you were playing the chart, it is best to get out of short positions until it demonstrates some desire to correct.
Still holding onto my VXX options. May need to unload soon if this market doesn't give me what I predicted it would.
Should make some money tomorrow when my 138 / 139 Bull PUT spread on SPY expires worthless.
Probably going to open a monthly Calendar on SPY next week, depending on the volatility. Will let you know.
