Just a thought.. I wonder if Cemex got the contract for the section of highway that collapsed north of Ensenada. I would assume that the replacement section will be earthquake/landslide proof, which in turn would need iron ore reenforced concrete and possibly a few billion tons of trap rock.. I'm pretty sure we have a nice stockpile of both at arms length, plus cwrn is already in bed with Cemex from back in Bob's days ...
With spot iron prices sucking wind, there is probably just as much profit in something like this until things turn around. One door closes... another door opens..
I wonder how many more sections of highway will be replaced because they are in the same proximity to the ocean.. HMMMM.. Come on Brad!! Get us out of the DTC doghouse and turn us into Fortesque East!! LOL!
