|
Digital Caddies (PINKSHEETS: CADY) a developer and marketer of information systems and tablet-based technology for golf-related content, is pleased to announce is that its golf course customers will soon be able to offer their members and guests full wireless connectivity, real-time distance information, scoring and much more using integrated tablet technologies. Digital Caddies' new tablet-based service will replace the Company's existing, non-Internet based GPS systems. Digital Caddies plans to initially market the tablet and related services to existing golf course customers and other luxury resorts and spas beginning in the Spring of 2012. "Our tablet-based interactive service represents a game changer in the golf industry," said Brad Nightingale, CEO of Digital Caddies. "Up until now, a feature-rich, GPS service designed for golf carts has been too cost prohibitive to implement for most golf courses. We are first movers utilizing tablet technology making our service accessible at a very affordable price point, while also providing golf courses, luxury resorts and our existing customers with new opportunities to generate additional revenue. With our new service in place, and our new revenue model, we expect total revenues per golf course to increase by at least 400% per year." Digital Caddies customers are provided rich golf-related content that is valuable to both the golfer and the golf course. The content for the golfer is specifically designed to promote interaction between the golfer and device such as valuable playing information, real-time distance information, score keeping and more. This keeps the golfer engaged for over four hours at the average golf course and thus provides an excellent opportunity for advertisers to interact directly with golfers in ways that have not been possible before.
