Consolidated Communications Sets Record and Meeting Date in Connection With the Acquisition of Enventis

MATTOON, Ill., Aug. 19, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Consolidated Communications Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: CNSL ) (the "Company") announced today that it will be holding a special meeting of common stockholders on October 8, 2014 in connection with the proposed acquisition of Enventis Corporation. The meeting will be held at 9:00 a.m. CDT at the Company's headquarters located at 121 S. 17 th Street, Mattoon, IL 61938.

Stockholders of record as of the close of business on August 21, 2014, the record date for the special meeting, will be entitled to notice of and to vote at the special meeting.
