Designed for use with Android smartphones and tablets, this release marks the company's second into the mobile space—the first release in 2013 was developed exclusively for Apple products, including the iPhone and iPad.
For users of the Google Android platform, the MyEnergate™ thermostat application enables users to control their Energate devices from their personal Android smartphone or tablet. The 2-way MyEnergate™ application allows users to monitor and control their home temperature as well as change their mode and fan setting from anywhere in the world. Users can also control the way their thermostat responds automatically to electricity price increases to help them save money.
The Android version of MyEnergate™ application also includes graphs of customers' home electricity usage and temperature history to help them save money. When used with Energate load switches, the MyEnergate™ application can track the electricity use of major loads in the home, including hot water tanks, pool pumps, refrigerators and home entertainment systems.
