You talked to him... I didn't... so its great you have confidence in his word.  However, for the rest of us, you will understand the concern that:

a) he told you he didn't know about this board until you told him,

b) why all of a sudden is he concerned with shareholder opinions, (if not all of a sudden, where was he getting shareholder sentiment previously)

c) and will he be making decisions about the direction of the company based on personal opinions here?

There must have been a lot of ground covered in 20-minutes of conversation... can you recap the issues discussed?  (if its non-public, or sensitive info, feel free to PM me)
