Now usually buyouts occurs after a successful phase 2. Stay tuned
DauberUP I hope you are right! I will have wished I loaded more a couple weeks ago, but will load more on the break past 2.40. I think if it breaks 2.40 that it will hit $5 at least, and most likely 6+, in short order.

My previous post is based on the belief that RR will not deliver what the sidelined money or potential investors yearn for. I think the real breakout won't occur until very late this year or early next.
You mean BTD! That is very very tough to do, but anything is possible. Phase 2 results should be exciting to read soon!
Is it feasible for Brilacidin to get FDA Fast Track approval if the single day dosing outperforms Cubicin in the phase 2b trial?

Could this drug be approved without a phase 3 trial ??
Progressive 90 days till your next article? Post release of the trial results?

I would strongly disagree. I have extreme confidence that our 1 dose is atleast equal to Dapto (lead drug currently). We should hopefully get prelim data by RR. If that is released and this went back to 1.70 I would be in awe. It should more or less head towards 6-10 at that point because we should then be seeing a license agreement short after final data is released. IMO. Say we see a 100 million upfront with 500 mm in benchmarks and 17% in royalty deal?

To me then we head towards $20 because we know B works and several other trials will begin in phase 2/3 for other multi BILLION dollar indications.

I truly believe the range BK stated 6-60 is going to be met in the upper portion of that in the next 6 months.

I just think we have been so undervalued that once media starts getting wind of a resistant proof antibiotic...we fly! I'll do my best to get the news out on mnbc

This kind of big volume should give newer entrants more confidence that this is a stable range to buy and accumulate in, with huge potential upside in the coming months. So many catalysts yet to come, the tail end of 2014 is going to get very exciting for CTIX mgmt. and shareholders
Last weekend I predicted news on Monday and Wednesday for completion of B trial enrollment and completion of cohort 8, not in any order. So far I'm off by one day.

Will we see news again tomorrow, or will it be Thursday? I would be pleased to be off by three days and have news come Friday at 4:01.

Looking good today.
That post was in response to Gov saying that previous run ups have been PR driven, which they have clearly not been.

The point is, we've seen quite a few of these runs that we're based on no news and they didn't sustain. The only gains we have held or losses we have endured have been the result of solid actionable news. And until someone can pinpoint what is driving volume and SP I believe it's probably nothing legitimate or sustainable.

My guess would be that it bounces around here between 1.88-2.00 for several days before resuming higher to test 2.10-2.20. I'm not expecting the big breakout above 2.40 in the next couple months, and expect to see a pullback to 1.75 after RR. Hope to be wrong about that.
Nice run-up, but Captain obvious is here...Peak volume with little change in price means balanced buying and selling pressure...and a lot of both. Often (not always!) means a local top has been reached.

We shall see.
What point are you trying to make? That the stock might drop? That the stock spiked for a reason yet unknown?
You're wrong. There have not been PRs timed with all of those volume events and that is false information.

Want proof? I went and pulled every high volume and sp gain event in the last 18 months and compared to PRs.

April 25th, 2014 Spike - Closest PR was April 14.

September 5th 2013 Spike - closest PR was september 9th which started actually caused a massive sell off and a reverse of the increase. Prior to that the closest pr was mid august.

July 19th, 2013 Jump - PRs on june 26th and August 12th

May 10th, 2013 jump - PRs on april 5th and may 28th.

You can clearly see that PRs are NOT causing these events.
Moving forward VERY nicely! Undeniably have some big eyes on Cellceutix.

btw, sent you a pm on SA.
It's called healthy consolidation...
Being prepared either way is good.
I guess that's a matter of interpretation. I don't believe that trial completion is the catalyst here as it is simply the end of an already predefined term. Results would be actionable news. We are all pretty good at turning just about every PR into our own "actionable news". For my own personal investing I would consider what we have received to be nice updates but nothing of recent memory to act on. We all watch this stock pretty closely and i haven't seen anyone cite anything that aligns nicely with the increase in volume and SP. I thought maybe the patent awarding was it, then i thought maybe there was a heavy PR coming but neither of those presented unexpected or groundbreaking information and have been simply formalities at this point.

You could be right and this is build up to study results. Perhaps that's the action here but i would have expected a slower build into the SP if that were the case.

I certainly hope i'm wrong and continued efforts to break $2 may indicate there is more going on here but i'm prepared to be back in the 1.80's in the near term.
good for you.

also isn't it amazing how investors show up when the news is good without a lot of new news outlets? again i'm withou. this PR was pretty clear.

thanks for posting SP
