SHARON, Pa., Aug. 19, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Quaker Steak & Lube®, or The Lube® to loyalists, the Award-Winning casual-dining concept, known for its Best Wings USA and over 25 signature sauces today announced that the official grand opening of its newest restaurant, located at 1304 US Route 22, Phillipsburg, NJ, will take place on Wednesday, August 27 at 11:00AM. Owned and operated by Lube It Up, LLC, the restaurant will bring 190 new jobs to the local economy and will be the third Quaker Steak & Lube® location in the state.
In advance of opening day, The Lube® will give local aficionados a sneak peak of its deep fried gold by giving away FREE wings to the general public on a first come, first served basis, on Thursday, August 21, beginning at 1:00PM and 7:00PM, while supplies last.

The newly built Pohatcong Lube will encompass a 7,048 square-foot design while accommodating seating for 298 people. The location also has a 2,100 square-foot brickyard outdoor patio, which will be heated for outdoor seating all year round, along with an indoor and outdoor bar. More than 38 HD flat-screen televisions will show all the biggest sports events and games throughout the restaurant, including the upcoming football season, which will feature happy hour specials during all games.
Additionally, sports and automotive memorabilia highlights of the new Pohatcong Lube include three Harley Davidson motorcycles on display. Donated by Williams Harley Davidson in Lebanon, NJ, the bikes include a 2014 FLD Dyna Switchback, 2014 XL1200V Sportster Seventy-Two and a 2014 Softail Deluxe. Other items include a snowmobile suspended from the ceiling, a 125cc dirt bike that will greet patrons as they enter the lobby and an inverted #2 Kurt Busch Miller Lite NASCAR hanging overhead.
The Pohatcong Lube will feature appetizing menu selections and will hold supercharged events all week, including All-U-Can-Eat-Wings on Tuesday, Bike Nites, early and late night Happy Hour and Sunday Car Cruise-ins.
For convenient to-go food, the Pohatcong Lube will also include a Pick-Up Wingo Window® and the restaurant will be launching online ordering at www.lubewingstofly.com .
