The central trait in narcissistic personality disorder is grandiosity. Affected people have an exaggerated sense of superiority and expect to be treated with deference. Narcissistic personality disorder can often be managed by individual psychotherapy but requires therapists who emphasize empathy and do not challenge their patient's perfectionism, feelings of entitlement, and grandiosity.
I was previously saying "sociopath" as a description because I didn't think he could empathize with others, which sociopaths cannot do and we know he can't just from some of his posts. I don't know if it's quite as far as sociopath with him. He's absolutely a narcissist though. Hopefully, for the sake of anyone that has to deal with him on a personal level, he can get some help.
