highly customized highly hardened trommel received May 19, 2012 to process what by june 2012 was ca 200,000 tons of 0-1mm byproduct -was going to ship fert Aug 2012 but Mr Murphy stepped in as usual
1) Mexico either changed the permitting rules re fert- requiring iron ore permit for it also- or they discovered fert had to have iron permit also (which they did discover but both conditions may apply)
2) the july 2012 Mex pres elections were appealed to the Mex Supreme Court- thus freezing the govt and permits- followed by a lame duck govt to Dec 2012-which if u know how things are done in Mex freezes things more than most countries
so couldnt get fert permit at the time-
3) cant remember if the regular ore was held hostage by the port at that time- may be why they bought trommel etc to process 0-1mm-so had the extra costs of trommel and its Terex loader without the expected income from reg ore or byproducts
while ore and permits were held hostage by circumstances beyond their control, so as per the May 2013 PR had to stop pro Oct 2012
apparently have been back in production ever since May 2013
