How many of you all posting on here have any idea how to actually run a business? I am absolutely blown away by the number of posts made by people who are obviously completely ignorant about how to actually run a company. Have you ever had to make payroll, develop an idea, hire and fire, build a team, negotiate a contract, listen to outside professionals and then commit hundreds of thousands of dollars based on their best understanding? Business is not exact, it is a risk! You make some calls correct, others go drastically wrong. This is not as much a defense of Treaty as it is a prosecution of a great number of people posting on this board. My guess is that many of you don’t even have enough money to buy a plane ticket to Belize but investing in Treaty allows you to have fractional ownership in an oil well there. The reality is that millions of companies have listed on the OTC markets and never gotten volume over a couple thousand shares a day. Most companies never get over the penny price hurdle. TECO started trading for less than a penny and is now triple that value. Have they been higher? Sure. Have they been lower? Yes. Where will they be tomorrow? Who knows. The fact of the matter is this, most people on this board could never come close to running a public company. Do you have any idea how much money it takes every single month to just stay in compliance with the SEC? Do you know how much money is spent on auditors and accountants? Most people here couldn’t pay the first bill from the accountants but TECO gives us the chance to ride this wave for pennies on the dollar. What we all need to do is sit back and realize that none of us here have the slightest idea how to run anything this big and list TECO on our Thanksgiving list because of what they have already done in coming this far. Are you going to become a millionaire on Treaty stock? Who knows, TECO doesn’t even know that, but you have a better chance with them than you do on just about any other business investment and the risk is currently at 2.8 cents per chance. Not a bad risk, a lottery ticket will cost you $2. Why don’t some of you go and post your ignorant comments on the State Lottery Website?
My broader question is this: Why in the world do some of you spend so much of your precious life posting on a message board about a company that you honestly hate? I like Treaty and this is my first post ever. Who in the hell has time to post negative comments every single day? Is your life so worthless, so utterly meaningless that you have nothing better to fill your time with than to write negative speculation about some company you have very little to do with? Go volunteer somewhere, go watch you kid’s soccer game or take your wife out to lunch, but for the love of God find something better to do with your time than sitting in your underwear smearing a company! They may make it, they may not, they will definitely move up and down until one of those two outcomes becomes more certain. My advice is go get a job and stop wasting your time on a freaking message board. Then if they make it big, you can retire and go back to spending your time on message boards, or perhaps then you can afford a more thrilling recreational activity.
