By the way, I was wondering if you have any idea what Vringo was going to do with those 6 patents they got from Microsoft?
Monday - The hedge funds are going to have a field day. Ultra volatility is expected both up and down until the VRNG lawyers announce their intentions (hopefully filing a en banc review and appeal to the Supreme court).
It will take some time for VRNG to put these filings together and make an announcement. After the announcement I would expect much calmer seas until we know if the CAFC will grant the review. If that happens than momentum will swing back to the longs.
One thing everyone should know, is that if this court gets away with this decision, it will literally destroy the whole patent system of this country. Patents will no longer protect anyone. Jury trials on patents will be meaningless.
This is why I don't think Google will get away with this. The decision is too far reaching.
Daniel Ravicher thinks VRNG lawyers will file both a "en Banc review" which by the way, is a panel of 11 judges at this CAFC and the Supreme court.
We will need 5 more judges to join Chen to stop this attempt of over reaching judicial activism.

Anyone that sells now won't be able to buy back in for 30 days or else lose the tax loss write off.That should help it hold support.
F-15-Retired, thank you for your post, extremely well described, we never thought it would come to using common sense instead of experts looking at the case from the proper prospective angle of attack. I am concerned, but not worried, I am not a legal minded person, I'll leave that to the VRNG'S attorneys. They have not put out a direct response to the Courts decision as yet, we'll see what that brings in the coming week. GLTA
banger187, you got it right, ZTE, ASEUS, and there are other prizes that we are going to go after. When someone has infringed in your life or business and used your hard earned patents you keep fighting. GLTA
yaboy520, when you are on a fight for your rights and you have been through trials and have won most of your fights, what do you do when someone who are not experts in this field, and only supposedly using "common sense" to render a decision against you that makes no sense at all, you get up and keep going for the next round. I am in all the way, I believe that our attorneys are going to get up and put up a fight up to the SCOTUS. Watch and see. I believe on them. GLTA Longs.

No, i know what business they are in. They bought hand me down patents so they could build their cash base suing companies over antiquated technology rights. My guess is that they could care less about generating revenue with the patents, outside of lawsuits. Read the 10Q, that's ALL it talks about. Nothing in there related to selling services or products.
