Booooooo!!

Booo to NOL play! Momentum...momentum...Momentum.. MOMENTUM!!!

Lol
Boooooo!

Go away!... Let us wallow in our ignorance!

Attention newbies, slap that ask this Monday morning...heck lehnq is #9 most read on investorshub. Bankruptcy play? More like momentum play!

See everyone at $1 per share...
We are all going to be winners here, except those who sold.

BTW, is anyone estimating the dollar/share payout? Are we estimating 17%, that's $4.25 / share October 2?
Feed me! feed me!

Slap the ask newbies, we dare you!

Heheh
I agree with your assessment of NOLs and COD, and why CTs were not placed in the OBS trust.....no argument there IMO. There is no "magic pathway" to avoiding the incurrence of COD.
Thanks

Hope whatever leh shares you hold do well as well...I mean also...er too
Oh then wait until you read about the Trillion + claims filed at the beginning
That is funny, I was just thinking:

the shopping is done
the gifts are all wrapped

nothing left but to wait for the big day!

gold you are missing the point here or just by-passing it.

Again the total you are throwing out there is TOTAL CLAIMS. That is EVERYTHING owed down to the janitors salary.

NOW: IF you actually want to come up with numbers that can be worked with go this way.

1. What value was given to the common stock?

2. What value for Preferds?

3. Value for CT's

4. Amount paid so far.

5. Adjustments to claims.

6. Dropped claims.

7. Cancelled claims.

8. AND above all do not forget the janitors salary.

and on and on and on. NOW add all these up and start deducting from your number. What is left. How far out of that till class 10 starts to see money, how much till class 11 starts to see money.

I think even you can see how your $323B is WAY out of line AT THIS TIME in the BK.
Perhaps a bit "pumpy"... But what if

The remaining $40 billion in assets that are reflected in most recent balance sheet were to go toward paying in full general unsecured creditors (I believe unsecured creditors need $27 billion to be paid in full? Calculated: $4.6 billion represents "17% of allowed claims for unsecured creditors", as highlighted in the estate's announcement dated August 15, 2014), with an excess of $13B spilling into OBS... Plus the OBS would enjoy all of the NOLs of course? Heheh... While visions of sugar-plums danced in her head (Christmas thoughts in mid August)

If Daisy wins EVERYONE WINS
First...why don't you spell the alphabet backwards because i'm sure you must be drinking or smoking something right now.....leave me alone! Not interested in talking to you any longer.....don't post me, don't post about me! What kind of a loser posts every day on a board he holds no shares in??? WOW
Thanks ana -

65B in claims reduction in one quarter. That's promising. How did they do that?

(5) Claims Distributions and other reductions include (i) distributions on allowed claims, (ii) reductions of the liabilities related to certain satisfied claims and (iii) the
assignment of affiliate claims to their respective parents.
Please sell, sell no hope as my friends Joe,2 good,Gus predicting.
I'm here from 2008,one day after collapse and no one yet predict correctly anything.
I'm positive of getting money soon if not I can wait.It is unlikely
that CT's don't get anything.

Daisy good luck to you. I think you will do well. Wish I had bought some of those shares when I had the chance.
I'm not going to engage you any longer....you are a proven liar....as is Gus. You made false claims that I have predicted payouts in prior distributions (4th, 5th, etc) and was "proven wrong every time". I have never made past predictions on possible payouts.... this 6th distribution is the first time I have done so. I asked you and Guster to provide links to past posts of mine in which I ever posted a prediction of payout and your response was "take it or leave it". That shows your character. You want to make untrue, slanderous statements so when newbies come on board they won't know any better. To that I ask...what is YOUR motive? Anyway, I don't care....I am not in this to be a "messageboard hero"....so anyone who listens to your lies and does not do their own DD deserves to lose their money. V hestheman
Ok then, start counting from one to two hundred billion and let the board know that you know.

Also, comprehend.. I repeat!! Comprehend this line;

"Pro-rata share of available cash"

Tip.. The POR have a list of definitions of terms used and the term "available cash" is included..

Hestheman!!!! I have said this many times!!!!

Do not change the direction of this topic!!!

>>What about reiemergence? Is there a scenario for that where my OBS can get a bone, at all? If no, why then escrow them and just not rid them? I now see I aint getting squat with those so why even have them in POR? <<

DammiT1 I was telling myself not to get caught up in this and like a moth to a flame...

The reason why the common where put in escrow in the OBS is that due to section 382 of the IRS code they needed to not have an ownership change to keep the NOLs intact for the benefit of the creditors. This is explained in the disclosure statement. They did not keep them listed under the old BK symbol as they did the Cts as the shares were made non-transferable. They were made non-transferable because they were deemed to be of no value, and allowing them to continue to trade would possibly indicate value to unknowledgeable investors. The CTs remained trading as they represented a link to unseceured debt that remain transferrable.

Now toogood thinks somehow there is going to be some kind of avoidance of section 382 requirement for cancellation of debt certficates. Think about that. Those holding debt that were not paid in full will be able to deduct their loss on their bonds from their taxes. Do you really think that the IRS wants the Lehman estate to also be able to use the NOLs to offset taxes? Right now as Lehman liquidates and winds down they incur capital gains, interest income, and operating income. All of that is still taxable. Taxes to that taxable income can be offset by the NOLs. So today the are reducing them. As I recall they could also carry those Nols back some 5 years to taxable income they earned pre-bk. In the end the Lehman unpaid debt that will be subject to cancellation will much more than the remaining NOLs. This is why also in the Disclosure statement that they say there will be no cancellation of debt until all assets are liquidated so as much as possible of the NOLs can be used to benefit the creditors.

There is nothing here for the equity holders.

I know how to count money....the problem is YOU do not know how to comprehend (per the POR) where that money is going. COMPRENDE???
