I don't think we will see Reid on a podium shaking hands with Barrow at a ribbon cutting ceremony even if they had a 1000 bpd producer. If you read any articles about the Superbond and Belize Debt they almost always throw in the phrase "declining oil revenues" which means the narrative is that it is necessary for the bondholders to negotiate the principle and interest down because they ain't got not money.
But, yeah Treaty will need to communicate something to the investors without blowing the GOB's story on "declining oil" and that's a fine line to walk any way you cut it. I imagine that the day Treaty is finally delivering the oil to market we will see a passing remark about a truck going to SJ 1 and SJ 2 to pick up the goods.
