If Daisy wins EVERYONE WINS
First...why don't you spell the alphabet backwards because i'm sure you must be drinking or smoking something right now.....leave me alone! Not interested in talking to you any longer.....don't post me, don't post about me! What kind of a loser posts every day on a board he holds no shares in??? WOW
Thanks ana -
65B in claims reduction in one quarter. That's promising. How did they do that?
(5) Claims Distributions and other reductions include (i) distributions on allowed claims, (ii) reductions of the liabilities related to certain satisfied claims and (iii) the
assignment of affiliate claims to their respective parents.
Please sell, sell no hope as my friends Joe,2 good,Gus predicting.
I'm here from 2008,one day after collapse and no one yet predict correctly anything.
I'm positive of getting money soon if not I can wait.It is unlikely
that CT's don't get anything.
Daisy good luck to you. I think you will do well. Wish I had bought some of those shares when I had the chance.
I'm not going to engage you any longer....you are a proven liar....as is Gus. You made false claims that I have predicted payouts in prior distributions (4th, 5th, etc) and was "proven wrong every time". I have never made past predictions on possible payouts.... this 6th distribution is the first time I have done so. I asked you and Guster to provide links to past posts of mine in which I ever posted a prediction of payout and your response was "take it or leave it". That shows your character. You want to make untrue, slanderous statements so when newbies come on board they won't know any better. To that I ask...what is YOUR motive? Anyway, I don't care....I am not in this to be a "messageboard hero"....so anyone who listens to your lies and does not do their own DD deserves to lose their money. V hestheman
Ok then, start counting from one to two hundred billion and let the board know that you know.
Also, comprehend.. I repeat!! Comprehend this line;
"Pro-rata share of available cash"
Tip.. The POR have a list of definitions of terms used and the term "available cash" is included..
Hestheman!!!! I have said this many times!!!!
Do not change the direction of this topic!!!
>>What about reiemergence? Is there a scenario for that where my OBS can get a bone, at all? If no, why then escrow them and just not rid them? I now see I aint getting squat with those so why even have them in POR? <<
DammiT1 I was telling myself not to get caught up in this and like a moth to a flame...
The reason why the common where put in escrow in the OBS is that due to section 382 of the IRS code they needed to not have an ownership change to keep the NOLs intact for the benefit of the creditors. This is explained in the disclosure statement. They did not keep them listed under the old BK symbol as they did the Cts as the shares were made non-transferable. They were made non-transferable because they were deemed to be of no value, and allowing them to continue to trade would possibly indicate value to unknowledgeable investors. The CTs remained trading as they represented a link to unseceured debt that remain transferrable.
Now toogood thinks somehow there is going to be some kind of avoidance of section 382 requirement for cancellation of debt certficates. Think about that. Those holding debt that were not paid in full will be able to deduct their loss on their bonds from their taxes. Do you really think that the IRS wants the Lehman estate to also be able to use the NOLs to offset taxes? Right now as Lehman liquidates and winds down they incur capital gains, interest income, and operating income. All of that is still taxable. Taxes to that taxable income can be offset by the NOLs. So today the are reducing them. As I recall they could also carry those Nols back some 5 years to taxable income they earned pre-bk. In the end the Lehman unpaid debt that will be subject to cancellation will much more than the remaining NOLs. This is why also in the Disclosure statement that they say there will be no cancellation of debt until all assets are liquidated so as much as possible of the NOLs can be used to benefit the creditors.
There is nothing here for the equity holders.
I know how to count money....the problem is YOU do not know how to comprehend (per the POR) where that money is going. COMPRENDE???
It's not just the fact that general UNSECURED creditors
will be receiving $4.6 billion for the first time before year's end...
The notice that was released by the Lehman estate August 15, 2014 specifically indicates that they "expect" ADDITIONAL distributions to general unsecured creditor in the future. Now THAT is pretty amazing. I can't imagine that the trustee would make such an announcement without some level of certainty that they could deliver and if the intended additional distributions weren't significant (like as in the same size as the first..)
I'm starting to feel better...enough so that some glimmer of hope is appearing on the horizon for OBS holders to realize some returns, although it may not until 2018+
It may be time to sell my imploded TVIX position and buy some more CTS.

claims on a bet that more assets sales will find ...
+++++++++++
Good luck!... Find more asset to fill the greater 200B deficit.. Invade a small country.
"The ONLY play here is an arbitrage play on the class 3 unsecured debt claims on a bet that more assets sales will find a bit more funds than what is estimated at this point". "There is no agreement for class 3 creditors to be limited to any kind of recovery on their approved claims, and there is a GIANT shortfall in them being paid in full whereas then the class 10 b claims start getting distributions". This is wrong....and I see that you and toogood must have taken the same reading and comprehension classes. The POR specifically states that NO creditor, AT ANY TIME, will receive more than the amount of their allowed claim. The allowed claim is the maximum limit for class 3....I will agree with you on that point. I have stated in the past that this partains to classes 3 and 7 per 6.5a of the POR which states classes 3 and 7 will continue to receive distributions as if they had not been satisfied in full. Thus, common sense dictates that since no creditor will be allowed in excess of their allowed claim, satisfied in full means less than the allowed amount percentage wise....for all other classes. The only provision for those classes to continue to receive distribution is for allocating classes to begin to be redeemed in pro rata share of avail cash......pro rata covers all unsecured claims and subordinated claims.
and here is the one and only truth
insert-text-here
check page 29 of the balance sheet. it is not that complicated. even I can understand it of course you need to add last distribution.
toogood have you noticed the Affiliate and the Affiliate Guarantee claims against LBHI (which are higher class of course than 10B)?? they are adding up to the 200B liabilities that you and Gus always talk about right?? where are these claims going to at the end??mmmmm? and check the same against LCPI,LBSF and others....those (or most of them) don't go as receivables at the end to LBHI??mmmmm??
i don't think it is as simple as you make it sound in your posts (with all my respect to you)
but please shed more light on this point
d that this includes general unsecured creditors as well as subordinated claims.

Lol!! Did I disagree??? No!! Absolutely no..
The problem is you don't know how to count money, so you don't know if there is money for it.. COMPRENDE???
Yes. This is the same guy who was laughed out of the fnf boards. Now he is back here again. Bashed fnf from .40 to 14 dollars. Now fnf at 17
"But no getting around 323bil allowed". I agree....when you only read Toogood, Guster, and JoeStocks posts and do not take the time to dig further.....there would be no way around it. Now go to the POR and study pro rata share of avail cash and find that this includes general unsecured creditors as well as subordinated claims. That is the distribution that is coming up. Read what the POR says about subrogated claims and then read Cotton's recent posts. Then....go study assumption and assignment of executory contracts, of which CTs qualify as. Finally, read some of the dockets regarding executory contracts including some JPM and Lehman want to keep as CONFIDENTIAL. Perhaps then you will see a way around it....if not, you can sell your shares cheap to your new best friends as i'm sure they will be eager to pick them up on Mon morning. IMHO.
Absolutely!
And the reward is so large in case we are correct.. It is still a good gamble.
Remind you that the priority rule still applies on the equity side..
Also, consider that if you are the one that makes a decision as a business manager, of course you will try to find the correct path to avoid COD obligation and put the NOL into use.
Or else, no business, no job.
The amount of NOL was mentioned in the POR. 48B for 2008 and 5B for 2009.. Still, 2010 to the final date need to be disclosed. Potential other losses is the amount of money that need to be recovered from affiliates.. You can see a negative -66B investment in affiliates in the balance sheet. Read the text about it.
Yes and gold seems to want to follow his every word. Such a handsome couple.
Lol. He has risen from the ashes!!!!
