TELL me about it !!!
They would have to have the HIGHEST bid.
Nasrat not giving this one away.
poison pill in place
ELTP
What product? Oh yes it is in the pipeline.
To use a basketball analogy it is like at team getting ahead 100 to 10 in the first three quarters then losing the game in the last quarter because it ran out of steam and that is exactly what happened to Elite. I am sure in many minds it is looked at as a pump and dump and that is exactly what it is if it can gain 95% and promptly lose 87% of the gain. There is more to just going up from .068 to .34. The disappointed investors that it has left behind means a lot to the future of Elite especially after it is piled upon the baggage it brought along from prior years. The fact that CEO hyped the stock at $4 to $5 didn't help and even worst his use of valuations of $2.10 to $2.75 with a worse case situation of $.40 was a disaster since Elite has been below the worse case scenario for some time.
Funny when Nasrat became CEO about a year ago the PPS was .068. Looks like the PPS has moved up to me.

As per Elite Laboratories, Inc. discussion with OGD on July 25, 2013, Elite hereby is withdrawing
it's Citizen Petition sent May 31, 2013 — Docket Number FDA2013-P-0694.
Northvale, New Jersey, Friday, June 21, 2013:
Jerry Treppel, Chairman and CEO of Elite commented, "It has been a remarkable year for Elite. We launched new products, substantially increased our revenues, and lowered our operating losses. Most importantly, I can now tell you that we expect our first commercially scaled-up, abuse-resistant opioid product to enter human pilot studies later this year. We have also conducted work on another abuse-resistant opioid product. We have also received FDA feedback on clinical protocols for the extended release brompheniramine product and have filed a Citizen Petition regarding the extended release brompheniramine/pseudoephedrine product, which, if successful, would put this product in a position to also begin clinical trials and eventually secure approvals for bringing these products on to the market.

That would make a lot of sense wouldn't it? You never know!
Pfizer has a string of recent "bad decision" acquisitions while currently facing several lawsuits. AstraZeneca decision to reject Pfizer's +$119 billion acquisition is how the industry now views Pfizer terrible reputation!
What new embeda trial? There was no such thing
Why in the world would they buy elite?
Pfizer should just buy out ELTP! That would solve everyone's problems real quick!
Hardly scary as New Embeda trial helped ELI-200 successful BE/PK trials and is helping $ELTP pursuit of ELI-200 Commercial FDA approval.
As for Commercial New Embeda, if and when it does launch, will be highly unpredictable as to stability but beneficial to ELI-200 FDA accelerated approval and Physician preference as Camargo and $ELTP have postulated.
Oh by the way when did Purdue abandon that tech, link please lol lol
Oh by way still waiting on the elite patent information lol lol
Again complete misinformation. But as nasrat himself said, coming soon and that is really scary for us true longs lol lol
Hysterically funny alright. Pfizer/Alpharma/King + 4 yrs and several $million wasted engineering dollars still trying to modify a technology that Purdue wisely abandoned.
Perhaps a new designed extruder with less damaging heat/mechanical forces has been invented or perhaps Pfizer re-invents their patents? Who knows?
2nd Qtr 2014 new Embeda launch has failed and rumor is now 4th Qtr Oct 2014. Millions of dollars perhaps will buy Pizer something but then who would ever want to take an unpredictable new Embeda never knowing what will fail and cause serious dose dumping.
The simple answer is that they do not know, in fact Nasrat himself said very soon. It is clear that the reintroduction of Embeda is very very worrisome.
misinformation. First, they did not copy the Purdue technology and to say they did is a serious allegation, as it could result in treble damages. In fact, what occurred is that the companies settled, as they most often do, and that settlement makes it clear that Pfizer did not admit to any infringement. In addition, it is impossible for anyone except Pfizer to know what manufacturing process is used, as I have corrected the record here many many time, the patents refer to melt extrusion as but one example of manufacturing methods. Next.
