MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA & WINNIPEG, MANITOBA , Nov. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ - Auctions International, Inc. ("Auctions") (OTCPINK: AUCI) is pleased to announce that Auctions and Rangemore Productions Corp. ("Rangemore") have commenced production planning of a live auction television show with real-time online bidding. The television program will be produced from Rangemore's Island Studios on the Isle of Man and will allow viewers to bid on displayed items live via the internet using Auction's real time bidding software. The show will initially be focused on high end luxury vehicles and then expand to include yachts, real estate, fine art and expensive collectibles. The series will start with one episode per week for 12 weeks and then expand as interest and demand grows. The program will be tailored to the high net worth consumer with the end goal being a live 24-hour interactive auction television program for luxury goods.
"This is a perfect marriage of what our two companies do best," stated Doug Mann , President & CEO of Auctions. "Viewers will be able to view luxury items on their television or tablet from the comfort of their own homes and bid on the items being displayed in real-time over the Internet. This adds a new and exciting dimension to traditional and online auctions and gives consumers the ability to purchase high-end goods that they normally wouldn't have access to. We are very excited about this project and the number of the markets we can service is potentially unlimited," continued Mr. Mann.
"Rangmore Productions Corporation is looking forward to creating new television shows at our studios or on location for broadcast incorporating Auctions established software for transmission in 2013." Stated Paul Mullins , President & CEO of Rangemore. "New program content will include auctions for exceptional and unusual items including property, boats, planes, artworks, and high value objects of interest to collectors." Continued Mr. Mullins.
