Acquisitions of patents or other intellectual property assets, which are and will be critical to our business plan, are often time consuming, complex and costly to consummate. We may utilize many different transaction structures in our acquisitions and the terms of such acquisition agreements tend to be heavily negotiated. As a result, we expect to incur significant operating expenses and will likely be required to raise capital during the negotiations even if the acquisition is ultimately not consummated. Even if we are able to acquire particular patents or other intellectual property assets, there is no guarantee that we will generate sufficient revenue related to those assets to offset the acquisition costs. While we will seek to conduct confirmatory due diligence on the patents or other intellectual property assets we are considering for acquisition, we may acquire such assets from a seller who does not have proper title to those assets. In those cases, we may be required to spend significant resources to defend our interest in such assets and, if we are not successful, our acquisition may be invalid, in which case we could lose part or all of our investment in those assets
Thanks for updating, you are correct. I missed that part from the 10Q, so the cash per share is lower than previously posted.
This will have to bounce on short covering! Should go to $1.30!
I conclude with the number of shorts still remaining, that this ain't over yet...
If $VRNG's lawyers are worth anything, they have reviewed the decision and are in the process of doing something about it!
They will come out in the next week or so and request an "en banc" review by the whole court, with the explicit recommendation that "the review is to review the case, not retry the case!"
Else, why does the USPTO even exist? Chen was the only judge on the panel with any "common sense"!
In his dissent, Chen clearly stated the Majority had overreached their job in their conclusion, rendering the jury's job insufficient with the evidence presented to them from both sides, with their "lack of "common sense" reference about the jury, and doing the USPTO's job at the same time.
It was not the Review Court Judges duty to dig this up and present it, it was Google's Attorneys!!! Representation is everything in a balanced court! G's attorneys weren't doing their job at the district level or else we wouldn't have gotten this far!
This will get interesting at some point, but the stock price will suffer in the meanwhile.
And yes, I sold on Friday, too much dust stirred up until $VRNG comes up with an "en banc" request and to see if the request will be accepted!
Politics make strange bed-fellows is an understatement!
Till then, things are a bit "fuzzy", back to "The Rock", climb under and wait for the storm to pass!
I am now a fully dedicated "watcher" with no skin in the game as of now!
JMHO, of course!
GLTA, and a great weekend to boot!

It was kind of strange to see JJ so quiet recently, now we know why, so it wasn't your GF taking up all of your time like you mentioned earlier.
In the meantime, I recommend you take advantage of the coming free fall to average down.
Congrats on the bail out JJ!
20k lost but as strange as it sounds glad to be out of this
Check their filings in 3 months, it wont look so pretty then!
did you really think vrng had any chance of winning? lol. joke
Right - another confirmation of NO REAL REVENUES!
No, I am not short. I just have a grasp for the obvious shortcomings of the company. First & Foremost, I would NEVER have paid $3 for a stock with a true share value in the .025 - .55 range. PLUS, I see SERIOUS issues with this company's FUTURE revenues. I hope they can show revenues from something other than lawsuits.
