Stevia is an obvious new trend and they could have named Vitamin Fizz something like VIZZIA or VIZZIAH. They can also pay me for this idea but I only accept cash. Maybe they will come out with a new stevia brand. They could also use crystalline fructose instead of the poisonous sugar substitutes. Oh well dumbass is what dumbass do ... MINE is like a box of nothing .... you alway know what you are going to get ... Hot Air.
Thanks, likewise...
Think we made a very good choice here..
Thank you for your opinion on this but i respectfully disagree about the weight issues plaguing the children of today. I believe it is kids sitting on their asses playing video games all the time and not getting outside and playing and enjoying the great outdoors like some of us did back in the day. I was never inside like most kids today. I understand we grew up in different times, if these children today had only 3 TV channels to choose from (4 if you count PBS)they would probably be outside all the time too.
To many choices now a days to be lazy. JMO - GO MINE!!
Yes that is true however,
You can trace many health issues back to the introduction of High Fructose corn syrup into the American diet in the late 50's.. There are many studies avalible that can bring light on this subject.
Yes the golden age of the 50's.. We were all ready and willing guinea pigs to many booming industries back then..
Glad to be on the same team with you.......

cnac... could not agree more. unfortunately too many parents are not like you. The quick and easy answer is (give them what ever they want) it takes time and effort to explain all the whys and why nots to children and grown ups. and if kids are glued to the video games most dads are engrossed in TV sports events and can't be bothered to deal with future health issues. I don't see our product as the best solution but hopefully a better choice.
the additives products preserve the vitamins but no one has said a thing about the tree rosin?
That's just it.. I'm not a health purist.. I am not someone on a mission to convert the world.. I am far from that..
I am just a somewhat informed consumer. But when given a choice I try to go with what I see as the better choice.
I do happen to live in a very health concious area with access to multiple sources of natural, organic food sources.. I am luckier than most in that respect.. and it has raised my awareness in that respect. But I realise there are many that do not have the access that I do..
All that aside, I think the management team with MINE is very high quality.. They are proven managers with decades of highly successful experience in the beverage industry..
I look for good things to happen here..
Kids being obese has to do with Video Games and parenting..People are lazy and fast food is easy and quick.. I have 2 young kids and they would watch tv and eat mcdonalds every day if I allowed it.. Parenting imo is a BIG reason why 65% of children are obese..
And sparkling ice has sucralose as well
High Fructose corn syrup is responsible for all the grade school kids having type B diabetes. add to that all the mothers of these kids being Obese. If weight loss is what most Americans dream of (and it is) and if being Hyperglycemic is to be avoided (it certainly should be) then lets all assume Management has taken these thoughts into consideration and let them make the product.
I hear you..... cannot disagree in general but the overiding issue for me, and I suspect for all of us is making some serious green. MINE product line will do just that.
Its not the ultimate health drink but WAAAAAY better than most, will taste great I believe, and allow me to QUIT MY JOB !!!
Right on my friend..... we are going to make a lot of money here.
Perhaps I'm not the health purist that some are. I have been a runner for 30 years and employ 5 times a week the NutriBullet which I recommend to every human being.....
I just don't think that the sweetners mentioned are that big a deal in the scheme of things.
I do hear what you're saying and appreciate that thought process.... I just think you're being a bit harsh.
it's an active debate whether acesulfame potassium contains methylene chloride or not. in the reading i've done, each side is convinced they are right. the FDA and beverage industry fiercely defend acesulfame potassium as safe.
the point of my original post on ingredients is if there's no definitive proof of toxicity with two of the three sweeteners in the drink, and if the primary one, far and away the largest ingredient by volume other than carbonated water, is natural, can't we at least agree this is a positive?
enrythritol on its own, or enhanced with a 100% natural sweetner like stevia, would be my choice. same goes for coloring. the beauty of being a shareholder is you can give management feedback on it. let's consider how many drinks currently contain only stevia, and these are good selling products to a truly health-conscious market.
changes like this would create a marketing edge, if claims could be made about a 100% natural drink. i'm willing to bet the ingredients of vitaminfizz can and will be modified if shareholders request it. go for it.
Cost could be a factor...
The artificial stuff is a much more powerful sweetener and probably cost much less..
Totally agree. Why not just get rid of the artificial.
Good point about taste. I will taste first, but I can't stand diet drinks. Many use sucralose. My real problem is with the marketing language. It's essentially a diet soft drink (soda) with vitamins, yes? I just feel we are at a point where consumers are being told that all sodas (diet/or sugar) are not healthy options. Google diet soda and you will see study after study that links diet drinks to health problems.
