How much did they pay for the big patent portfolio they bought? So they have 39 cents per share in cash, that patent portfolio they bought off of,..Nokia? The value as a big board entity. The longshot value of Google appeals etc. Whatever value you give for other lawsuits based off the now tainted patents. What do you get $1.25-$1.50 per share worth of meat left on the bones?

There was a report of $31.7 million in cash at the end of June. And an additional $2.3 million deposited with various international courts for injunction enforcement.
Common shares outstanding is approx 87.2 million. There are approx 115 million shares on a fully diluted basis. But because 17.4 million of them are related to warrants (at $1.76 and $5.06) it probably doesn't make sense to count them when we have a market closing price per share of $0.88.
There are 12 million more shares related to the employee incentive plan.
So using the most favorable metrics, I believe it would be approximately $0.39 cash per share. But I don't know the cash burn the last two and half months. I am sure it is more than zero.

One other point, the patents in question were directly related to proprietary query based content ad retrieval, which is Google Adsense. In essence, this voids ANY claim Vringo has to use or revenue generated from its use. In other words, Vringo is UP THE CREEK & will not obtain ANY revenue tied to those patents. No matter how the advocates for VRINGO twist this on the wire & on the message boards, LOSS of this revenue stream is MAJOR for a company this size!

Unforunately, with the Earnings loss & the revenue impacting patent losses, VRNG is going to correct & fall inline with it's true support level, in the low .50's. This stock is in a dead cat bounce & the only thing that will send it back up is a positive Earnings Report. The short rally wont happen until this bounce bottoms out. Short sellers are going to squeeze every ounce of gain out of VRNG, and, they will not leave 1/2 of a dollar sitting on the table.

Reversing Trial Court For error
Would some trial lawyer respond to this? I've been out of law school for over 50 years and had little trial experience. I recall however that appellate courts have to give juriy opinions great deference and where an agency has opined as the Patent office here has more than once, that the courts have to give that even greater weight. So now we have the CAFC knowing more about patent law than the patent office?? If the above is correct, IMO en banc is clearly warranted here and it will reverse the appellate court. Less
