News for 'ISON' - (Isonics Corporation Semiconductor Segment Shows First Monthly Profit)

(FinancialWire) Isonics Corporation's (NASDAQ: ISON) semiconductor products and
services segment achieved operating profitability for the month of August based
on continued revenue and unaudited EBITDA growth.
The company said its semiconductor segment achieved its first month of positive
operating income which was in excess of $75,000 for the month of August along
with revenue in excess of $1.1 million and EBITDA exceeding $200,000. The month
of August was the third consecutive month this segment generated over $1 million
in revenue and positive EBITDA. The August monthly EBITDA exceeded the
approximate EBITDA of $170,000 for the entire three-month period ended July 31,
2006.
"We believe the trend of solid operating results in our semiconductor segment is
sustainable as a result of the continued strength in our 300mm silicon wafer
product line and our unrelenting focus on operational improvements over the last
year which has increased yields, quality and cycle time, all of which contribute
