Months ago I was told by sources close to the company that Hollund was in fact harvesting trees, but could not fill orders at that time. I was also told the Kuna were doing the harvesting and helping in any way they could. I asked why investors were not being told this, and was informed that Hollund could not because they did not have the "final" permit. Also, it is not Hollund itself that is doing the harvesting. Instead, it is BLWP, and Hollund is only a percentage owner of BLWP. Thus, no requirement to disclose.
Subsequently, I heard Alana hijacked press releases Hollund put out and "modified" them to indicate Hollund was not acting in good faith toward the Kuna. This was proven to be true, but it took time. Alana then had to mend fences with the Kuna. However, she did not stop just there.
I know of more hijinks, but probably should not post about these at this time.
Investors should keep in mind that the concession Hollund owns is for fish farming and remediation on the lake. The remediation involves certain "improvements" to the lake environment intended to enhance fishing. It is the "remediation" portion of the agreement that allows Hollund (or BLWP) to pull trees. This is why it is so difficult to find information regarding Hollund's progress and activities.
Finally, disgruntled investors called, e-mailed, and wrote the Panamanian Government, ANAN, and even the Kuna to try and find out what was going on. This was understandable, but caused more problems for all parties involved.
Legal documentation in Panama prove BLWP did in fact pull trees and is in fact storing them near shore. Ironically, the proof is provided by Alana herself because of one of her "tricks" to try and stop BLWP. Alana filed a restraining order claiming BLWP was harvesting outside their concession boundaries. A survey had to be performed to clear BLWP of wrong doing. This trick ended up backfiring on Alana.
I have no desire to pump HIMR or defend their lack of communication with investors. My only purpose for making this post is to try to inform investors of the problems Hollund has faced, and explain the delays.
