In his twenty four year career, Mr. Orkin worked as producer, creator, and editor of a number of TV shows including: Celebrate South Florida, New Florida and Décor with Dina Merril; and Evening Magazine at KPIX TV in San Francisco. While at the Evening Magazine, Mr. Orkin created a segment called “Somebody’s Gotta Do It” featuring Mike Rowe, which launched the Discovery Channel’s “Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe “.
