I firmly agree and on the merit of these points:
- It has not stopped the lies. Instead it has emboldened the bashers and even increased the tone and number of participating bashers.
- It has caused some to question motives and judgement (I know of some that have been converted from "longs" to "flippers" because of it).
- The benefit does not outweigh the damage. IMO.
Someone once said, "Never argue with a fool. A bystander may not be able to tell the difference."
And, one thing the Indians learned about fighting other Indians, is that it's a hopeless cause. The more arrows one side would shot at the other..... the more that other side had to pick up and shoot back. It's an exercise in futile redundancy. Or redundant futility.
Just my opinion.
