DGAP-News: CENTROTEC Sustainable AG / Key word(s): Half Year Results CENTROTEC Sustainable AG: Revenue growth in first half; outlook confirmed 14.08.2014 / 07:30 --------------------------------------------------------------------- Brilon, August 14, 2014: The first half of 2014 saw CENTROTEC Sustainable AG, Brilon, increase its revenue by 3.5% compared with the first half of the previous year, to EUR 244.2 million (previous year EUR 235.9 million). All three segments contributed to this growth. In the second quarter revenue growth came to 1.2%, having reached 6.1% in the first three months, thanks in part to the very mild winter. EBITDA was broadly in line with the prior-year figure (EUR 16.4 million) at EUR 16.2 million. EBIT came to EUR 5.6 million and thus showed a decrease compared with the prior-year figure of EUR 6.9 million. The depreciation as a result of the substantial increase in capacities over recent years and the non-recurring costs for the change in the group's management posted in the first quarter had an adverse impact on the operating result. The business performance of the CENTROTEC Group in the first half of 2014 was in line with expectations. Business was again substantially driven by the German market. By contrast, the performance in European markets has so far fallen short of expectations. Based on the first half, CENTROTEC stands by its expectation of slight growth in revenue and earnings for 2014 as a whole.
