This year probably a flat year for fnma
Yup...people here have no shame posting and pumping. We need to remember the pumpers and beware of their words.
Although I do like the price action today....looks like we found support/bottom....we'll see tomorrow.
They're due tomorrow right?
I'm guessing Icahn hasn't released his 13F yet?
and then everyone gets upset haha. but i'm with you, people have let their emotions run with this thing every other week when these stupid conferences roll around or some other announcement is supposed to "possibly release us."
truth is this is going to be a long process, months, possible into 2016. there's a reason Obit isn't on hear often anymore, he knows that exact fact and explaining it over and over again isn't going to do shiz for the ones who get out of hand with their hopes and wishes
Ain't that the truth. ...me and lump always say the same shit.....
Great Point. Its even worse than that, tho.
Our government, with 17 trillion in debt, decides to keep fannie in conservator ship when we earned 4 billion in the last quarter, and have been keeping America afloat.
It would make more sense for FNMA to put Congress and our government in conservator ship, not the other way around.
Fannie Mae has done a way, way, way better job of managing its money than the Federal government.
all the hype for nothing yesterday, as expected
Lost 2 billion last quarter??? WOWWWW, I thought that was for the entire year! So now we're supposed to blindly trust these clowns to fix the mortgage finance system???

@JoshRosner us postal loses 2 billion last quarter, $FNMA gains 3.7 billion in same quarter. Guess which 1 is in a conservatorship. #logic
LOLz
You are not Gretchen Morgensen A WONG!. You are so far out of it you have no idea.
Very good question.
Totally!! Single systems never did work and never will work.
End of story.
Cant argue that about the sheeple. But just once I would like to see an eye opening major story done about what really went on, and what continues to go on.
True there are a lot of sheeple that are more worried about who got voted off their TV show, but there are still a few people with an IQ above chocolate pudding that need to see the truth.
That quote pretty much sums up America's woes for the past 100 years.

Look this:
"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered...I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies... The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs." THOMAS JEFFERSON.
The judge has done you a favor. You could become internationally famous if you can handle this properly. Pole dancing is going to become an Olympic competitive event. It takes a lot of dedicated work to win. The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step.
Why is FNMA back at #2 most read on iHub?
seems way too boring to be up there right now?

I'm far more conservative than David Gregory, but he does get to ask the president questions. I just had a chuckle to myself thinking what if he agreed to ask flat out about FnF release from conservatorship?
