If IBM could do it...they would have included in the clip!...
"sounds like" not = "the same"
Interesting article on Converged, hyper-converged and hypervisor- converged infrastructure.

IBM's clip does not refer to cross-platform native environment access to legacy software...etc. etc....among other things not addressed...
sounds like a "watered down" GW .20...
Shorts blowing more dollars our way.
200 @ $6.32
Thank you.
Wow. What a dump at the end in Canada. Naked shorting is our friend.
Right? Right.

Patents are fought over for decades,
it is never the end of the story until the USPTO
says :"This Is A Final Decision" if a patent is challenged.
Some have to give their heads a shake regarding...
patent infringement. Patents are the sole property of the company that submitted same and accepted by the US patent office. I would have to state that ANY's patents are the sole property of the company and protected. END OF STORY with ZERO DRAMA.

Does "identical" mean that IBM is using/selling ANY products or do we have product that does the same thing as IBM's? If we have a competing product that does not infringe IBM patents, I would think that IBM competitors would want ours.
I don't think they have a product that does what Glassware does. It is possible the salesperson was over enthusiastic.

I am talking to an IBM cloud rep.
They are telling me they think
this is identical

Glassware 2.0(TM) and Desktop Cloud Orchestrator(TM) From Sphere 3D to Advance End-to-End Virtual Deployment Capabilities of Dell DRIVE Plus
Sphere 3D Corporation (CA:ANY, otcqx:SPIHF), a virtualization technology solution provider, today announced that it has teamed with Dell to integrate the Sphere 3D Glassware 2.0™ platform and Desktop Cloud Orchestrator™ “DCO”, from recently acquired V3 Systems, with Dell DRIVE plus.
Dell DRIVE Plus , a collaboration among Dell, Red Hat, Intel and VMWare, helps make deploying and optimizing electronic health record (EHR) solutions easier and more cost effective. Healthcare customers who implement this innovative solution reap many benefits, including lower EHR costs and the flexibility of an open industry-standard platform. The platform is expanding to include both Glassware 2.0™ and Desktop Cloud Orchestrator™ from Sphere 3D.
Glassware 2.0™ is a platform that was designed utilizing a proprietary microvisor and revolutionary topology to achieve application virtualization in the most demanding of circumstances. Utilized in conjunction with hypervisor-based virtualization deployments, it enables true end-to-end virtualization of physical infrastructure.
The DCO software, which is currently integrated with VMware® vSphere®, ESXi™ and Horizon View™, was developed from the ground up to enable desktop administrators to quickly and efficiently meet the needs for day-to-day management of virtual desktops. DCO is delivered from a secure, simple, centralized web console and provides automatic replication of persistent and non-persistent virtual desktops. This enables seamless pool movement between appliances when needed for failover or scheduled maintenance.

“The addition of Sphere 3D’s solutions to Dell DRIVE Plus ensures that we are offering the most robust virtualization experience possible for our EHR customers,” said August Calhoun, Ph.D., vice president/general manager, Dell Healthcare and Life Sciences. “Through this collaboration with industry leaders we are able to deliver a truly innovative reference architecture for healthcare systems.”
About Sphere 3D Corporation
It was indeed in jest. And if I encounter the information sought I will keep silent until it is clearly known by others on this board. Honoring the company's wishes is what I must do. We are all on the same team.
Van honors their wishes and he makes his living bartering info. I respect that.
Struft...similar to State and municipal subdivision ...if state has a contract with a company for goods or services...generally every municipal subdivision within the state may access the same terms and conditions via "piggy-backing" onto the contract...avoids the Request for Quote/Proposal...and in effect provides a means for immediate access to goods or services without bidding process (the assumption is the State already got best price). Same applies with Feds...and in some states, State can piggy-back onto Fed contract for goods/services...
speeds up the procurement process by about 6 months in U.S.
Sure hope they have great contacts throughout Europe and this is the start of something big. Kind of like OVRL having great contacts within the USA federal government and maybe they will lead the charge on all levels of govt (federal, state, county, city) as every level of bureaucracy will need our products.
What a thought: All levels of govt worldwide running Sphere software on Google Chromebooks and utilizing V3 virtual desktops.
Also utilizing myriad other communication devices (smart phones, smart devices, laptops, etc) each embedded with Glassware chip.
Pete, this service contract is not related to the EU Hdqtrs.
Any city, community or government dptm can use the Tenders Electronic Daily system for their tendering and procurement.
But definitely such tender win will be a good reference towards other goverment institutions seeking the same type of services.
I digged a little deeper and it looks like the framework of this service is about full deployment of Sphere / V3 System solutions + thin clients for the Best community.
The service contract value seems to be approx 600K Euro.
Client ICT has been contracted by several communities and you can bet on it that you'll hear much more about them in the future.
streamingeagle88, seems your post points to 1 of the the 15 articles within JB`s post on the stickies. As they are in plain sight here.
"If to you virtue encompasses not badgering management, then to remain virtuous you must ignore that which tempts you... the red meat."
Eagle--You implied earlier that you had seen the article. Was that in jest?
Naked shorting of your stock is like someone going after your balls. It's not part of normal etiquette, and requires a drastic response. You do whatever you have to to stop it, and you do it right away. My concern is that even at this early stage management is acting 'corporate' about what is essentially a direct attack on the financial well-being of it's shareholders.
Not quite the right link on the last post there.......
Think this is the one that I was looking for...
Sorry..

Remember too that smart guys do and have done many dumb/wrong things.
If I had $500k I'd buy every share that I could between $6-7 and bleed the shorts before the ANY good news starts rolling out.... which it inevitably will. And soon I suspect. Get in before the institutions commit and the shorts are forced to cover.
Buying a little most every day. Thought about selling some more XXII to raise funds but XXII looks ready to move so I'll give that thought a rest.
Am I waxing too poetic or perhaps too inelegant??
