VXX ran all the way up to 22.49 today and then got sold off EOD. She's up again in AH but we'll see if volaitility continues to go up tomorrow. My 5.30 entry is now worth 5.80 but I'm going to be patient since I have 92 days before expiration. What I found a bit odd and somewhat comforting was that the DOW was barely up and SPY was only down a fraction but the VIX was up 3.45% today. Makes me wonder if the market is pricing in some volatility and downside protection with the indices at new highs and many stocks showing overbought.
Time will tell. I'd like to see VXX run to $26 or $27 short term.
