Can't be positive DTL but, if I had to guess, and I hate guessing, I would say the reason they shut Madeley in is because the water got too high and the oil went down. When a well is shut in for some time the oil will migrate into the tubing as will the gas. The well will start out as a good producer but will fall quickly, hence the need to pull down the pressure, which I never understood that explanation. The pressure was never over 1100psi, not too high. If an aquifer has encroached into the perfs then it will not stop unless you drill past it or plug it back. Again, I am guessing, don't know for sure. ROLL TECO ROLL
