btw, if you look at ntek they already have many big names associated with them. huge names. imv, any personal charges are immaterial to hollywood.
some of the challenges for ntek will be "cultural". almost philosophical. u c, silicon valley is filled with engineers. creative problem solvers. they set their mind to something, and do it. these are some of todays elite problem solvers. thinkers and doers
hollywood does not work like this. anyone who knows hollywood understands that hollywood has a bit of a power structure and god complex. they simply don't work the same way
despite this, ntek is making progress. they have added names to help them attract what they need. they also were very wise in creating a business plan and strategy that provides significant leverage. giving the studios plenty of incentive (value) to work with this silicon valley start-up. the trade shows must have helped too. as has the advisory board
also, hollywood is suffused with about as much "I.T." as silicon valley is with hollywood.
one engineers, creates, and sells dreams and fantasies. while the other endeavors to engineer them in real-time. hollywood engineers dreams. while silicon valley engineers concretize them
but my visit proved to me that these guys working for ntek are really smart, bright, and very creative problem-solvers. they are figuring it out. and they have multiple products to help them gain access. it will only be a matter of time. and i personally think the rewards will be well worth the wait.
