I'm with you on everything you said.  I have so much passion about Saturday that I am dead tired on Sunday.  Only thing that gets me going about Sunday is Fantasy Football.  I'm 7-3 BTW.  I think the Oilfield is meant for the people that are in it.  Its chaos.  You can literally work for 52 hours straight (little naps in between) but you can also be home for months.  You get paid a lot but you better have a few months salary set a side for the down patches.  You can be the biggest dumba$$ on the planet but if you work hard enough and dedicate your life to it then 200 to 300 a year is easy.  The people in the oilfield don't know how people go to the same job everyday and sit at the same desk and go home every night.  I was born into it.  My dad has been a consultant since I was born.  Luckily for me my parents are still together.  That is often a casualty of the oilfield.  Very high divorce rate.
