Writers Group Film Corp. (OTCQB:WRIT) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. John Diaz as President and Director of the Company, and its wholly owned subsidiary Front Row Networks.

Mr. Diaz has enjoyed a nearly forty-year career in music and video production and distribution. Starting in the era of small intimate concerts as an owner of Beaver Productions, he graduated to the giant stadium shows and worldwide tours in the early formation of Pace Concerts through the 70’s. Following the advent of a new distribution platform for music in the early 1980’s with the dawn of MTV and the explosion of music videos as a medium and art form, Mr. Diaz established himself as one of the leading producers of music videos and events for broadcast.

Mr. Diaz has been an integral part of the evolution of music, media and entertainment from Woodstock to net-stock. He has worked with the world’s most popular and well-known artists, and helped to deliver music and video entertainment to literally hundreds of millions of fans around the world.

Among his career highlights, Mr. Diaz has produced domestic and international TV for some of the largest music events in history, including specials with Michael Jackson, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Sting, The Rolling Stones and many, many others.

He has also produced the acclaimed PBS series “On Tour,” as well as numerous award-winning music videos. The sheer number of music videos, TV specials and concerts he has produced are in his words “too many to count.” He has shot more concerts in 3D than any other producer in history.

Since 1998, Mr. Diaz has focused his energies on bringing music and other digital content distribution to the Internet, first as one of the founding members of mp3.com, then as Executive Vice-President of Vivendi/Universal’s Internet arm, VUNET.

With the recent acquisition of Front Row Networks, Mr. Diaz’s vision is to develop and grow the Company in a similar manner in which he took MP3.com to such an elevated status.

“I am excited about the opportunity to develop Front Row Networks into a world class entertainment Company,” said Mr. Diaz, “and I look forward to taking the same strategic plan that  mp3.com had in the early stages, and using that with this venture.”

Mr. Diaz continued, “We are assembling a world class management team to execute our vision to create an identity as the premier brand in 3D theatrical events. We intend to package new 3D concert theatrical events with our existing 2D and 3D catalogue, as well.”
