(OTCQB:GBLX) a medical marijuana research and development company, announced today that the first GrowBLOX™ cultivation chamber has arrived in Las Vegas, Nevada. With the arrival of The Company's core technology, GB Sciences will be better prepared to commence its cultivation operations in Nevada; pending the upcoming Nevada State Licensing decision. Through its local, majority-owned subsidiary, GB Sciences Nevada, LLC, GB Sciences, Inc. is awaiting final license approval for one cultivation facility in Clark County, Nevada, and three medical marijuana dispensaries, two in the City of Las Vegas and one in Clark County, Nevada. GB Sciences has already received special use permits for one dispensary and one cultivation facility issued by the Clark County Commissioner's Office. The State is expected to make their decisions as early as this month, but no later than November 3, 2014.
