Apr. 22, 2014 - (Mount Laurel, NJ) TelVue® Corporation (OTC: TEVE), the innovation leader in Television and Internet Broadcasting for broadcasters, cable operators, and media companies has launched the New York Racing Association (NYRA)’s first live 1080p HD video broadcast of horse racing exclusively to NYRA Rewards account holders with a Roku® Internet video player.
“NYRA is thrilled to bring live thoroughbred racing on the Roku platform in high quality HD,” explained NYRA’s CIO Tom Thill. “TelVue understood our need to customize the NYRA HD channel so that we could offer it as an exclusive NYRA Rewards member benefit, and support race calls simultaneously in English and Spanish.”
The NYRA Rewards Roku HD channel is delivered via TelVue’s Hosted Broadcasting service, which processes the incoming video sources - including live remote locations - through the necessary transcoding steps to reach Roku players via secure distribution.
NYRA Rewards members now need only a Roku device and an Internet connection to be able to watch full-screen HD TV video of live races from Aqueduct Racetrack, Belmont Park, and Saratoga Race Course.
“TelVue is pleased to help NYRA pioneer the transmission of live racing events to its valued members,” said Paul Andrews, TelVue’s Senior Vice President for Sales and Marketing. “Our technology is designed to open up new Internet broadcast possibilities for sports and other high value events.”

Yesterday the governor of New Jersey (Chris Cristie) vetoed a bill which would allow Race Track betting at state of New Jersey casinos .
Some of the casino’s will be closing in New Jersey. What might be a better idea would be off-track-betting thru ROKU and supported by TelVue.

THE FORMER MAYOR OF WILDWOOD NEW JERSEY WAS DEAD SET AGAINST ANY CASINO’S IN WILDWOOD
Even though the leader of this community in Wildwood knew very well that the taxes and employment for Wildwood would be a great boon he was successful in stopping Casino’s in Wildwood because he knew what other type of people it would bring. The city of Atlantic City in New Jersey won the casino’s and what came with it. You have to get your money from somewhere so the now Mayor of Wildwood is pushing for beach tags in Wildwood. This will open beach tags to every community along the New Jersey coast.
