Good Gaming Enters Closed Alpha Testing
CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - Aug 6, 2014) - Good Gaming Inc. (OTCQB: CMGO), an online destination for gamers who want to become professionals, is a wholly owned subsidiary of CMGO. The state-of-the-art Good Gaming platform will give amateur gamers access to professional training videos, walkthroughs, key mapping guides and other tools. The site is built on an open source platform designed to scale with the user base.
In a gaming world first, Good Gamers will have a unique opportunity to offer their services as a "mercenary" to other gamers looking for help or additional team members. Users will be able to post a job on the mercenary system and decide which applicants to give it to.
The platform also provides a social network for gamers and allows gamers to publish posts, follow each other and keep track of favorite content on the site. Additionally, Good Gaming will provide a way to create teams and participate in tournaments.
This week Good Gaming is excited to report it is transitioning from the pre-development stage into initial closed alpha release. Under the hood, the Good Gaming platform employs a cutting edge combination of AngularJS and Twitter's Bootstrap 3 for a highly mobile responsive interface on the consumer front end. While a Symphony PHP framework on top of a MySQL database handles the heavy lifting on the backend.
During alpha release Good Gaming will begin testing the infrastructure, database, user and social systems. In addition, with the assistance of a select group of alpha testers, Good Gaming will begin the optimization process of the site's user experience (UX).
As the anticipated September launch of the Good Gaming website draws near, the founding group is "teaming" with excitement. Caxy Interactive has worked diligently to insure our guidelines to build a functional place where gamers can congregate and find each other have been met. Now that we have begun to play with features we imagined in closed alpha, we are happy to report the platform is meeting our highest expectations.
